This is a two person team workout. Each team member will get half of the deck. Complete the task on each card in your deck. If you complete your deck before your parter you may help them to complete their deck (Muffin, this means you).

Posted by: Peggy | May 05, 2009 at 09:44 AM
Ryan's " My Kake" and Sam will be there too. :)

Fun workout today! Felt great to be back in the gym. Good job 8:30. And seriously, Christy, you rocked all those thrusters, all like, 90 of them. :)
Posted by: Martine | May 05, 2009 at 10:14 AM
It was a fun 8:30 WOD.
Ryan will be so excited about "His Kake" showing up on Saturday. I love how he refers to Kake as his. Of course we all know that women are our property, so I am glad that I started him young.
Right guys.......

Oh and Holy Crap Michael. Nice front squat.
You can keep that spot on the board. Not even close to trying that weight.
Posted by: Gdog | May 05, 2009 at 11:41 AM
yep
Posted by: Ed CFJC | May 05, 2009 at 12:03 PM
Sweet PR Michael!
Posted by: Ed CFJC | May 05, 2009 at 12:03 PM
You only THINK that's Michael...I stole his shoes. And forgot to shave.
That's actually me with the big front squat PR.

Thanks for the compliments. I found this stuff at GNC ( It is not cream based or comes in a needle, so it is legit) and yesterday, I felt just raw power. Another theory is that maybe it was Brad chowing down on his Pemmican that got me amped. Either way, the new goal is to hit 300.
Anna, I knew you were a klepto. No wonder why I could not find my shoes or my razor. How are my calves suppose to glean without a close shave.

wahoo! I'm so in. I want a margarita RIGHT NOW.
Posted by: anna | May 05, 2009 at 12:43 PM
I hear that stuff is made with real bits of panther. And it's illegal in 9 different countries.

I am going to be quite honest, it smells like pure gasoline to me. It is quite pungent. It stings the nostrils.

They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.

Due to the fact that I cannot read a schedule, I somehow thought there was a 12:30 today. I was wrong, obviously. Brad, thanks so much for sticking around for us today.
I may have to stop by tomorrow night for cinco de mayo part dos. I am celebrating tonight since my semester is officially over!

How come everyone else gets their nickname on the list and not mine(it's on their as Criag)? What cuz I don't come anymore has my nickname been ostracized?
Posted by: Craig | May 05, 2009 at 02:07 PM
Yay 6am crew. Especially my new partner in crime, BamBam. He is a machine!!
MaryEllen, i feel sorry for your opponent. (and I don't mean you, Doc:)
Thanks, Pistol, for CrossFit Hold 'Em, as opposed to the HQ WOD.
Can't believe I drew all the burpee cards . . . . figures.

The nickname request has to be brought up before the committee. The easiest way to do that is to have a senior member sponsor your request, but their identities are secret.
After the committee has approved it, the secretary enters the record in the official spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet is then recorded at the county annex office, and is stamped. You are then assigned a nickname at a formal ceremony before the council of elders, and the committee.
The process takes about 18-22 weeks, and costs about $500.00 in fees (minus lawyer cost).

Oh guys I am so embarrassed. That's actually the process I use to pick up my dry cleaning. I don't know what I was thinking!
Sorry if I gave anyone bad advice.
Posted by: Miguel | May 05, 2009 at 09:03 PM
I think you should be called "Pointdexter".
Posted by: Ed CFJC | May 05, 2009 at 10:53 PM
Pointdexter huh? I'm afraid to ask where that came from!!
Posted by: Scoob | May 05, 2009 at 11:00 PM
I know you meant it in the form of the definition below. Rather than the obvious "nerd" reference!
"Poindexter is an American surname descended from the Poingdestre family of Jersey. In its original form, the name means 'right fist'."
Have a great night!
